- Richard trained as an actor in the UK, having been on the British fencing team from 1982 to 1985. He also worked as a diver on the oil rigs in the North Sea before starting stunt work in 1994. He is a widely respected performer not only in the water and with a sword but as a ground pounder, on a wire and in a car. More recently, Richard has been stunt coordinator on many commercials in addition to the credits shown here. He was also stunt coordinator for one of the two units for the last four seasons of Game of Thrones, winning four Emmy awards and four SAG awards for his work.
